The public is welcome to participate in the Santa Clarita Interfaith Council’s fourth and final interfaith panel of the year on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the community room of the Barnes and Noble book store at 23630 Valencia Blvd. Attendance is free.

The topic of discussion is, “How Does My Faith Bring Out the Best in People?”

Confirmed faiths on this panel include Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian perspectives. This particular panel is specifically formatted for high school and college youth who are encouraged to ask questions of the panelists. However, all ages are encouraged to attend this unique opportunity to experience viewpoints held by the various faiths that share the Santa Clarita Valley.

The council strives to highlight the differences and similarities among our local faiths and encourage dialogue regarding the various perspectives and traditions held by our neighbors. Also, the council wishes to encourage faith leadership to work together for the good of our community.
